Explore with CCID & the French Embassy!

We are proud to announce that Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) and Cultural Services of the French Embassy are co-sponsoring an Explorers Workshop led by Gazelle International this fall!

Are you a community college teacher/faculty in the U.S. or a teacher/faculty member from a French institution? Apply for a free spot in the Explorers Workshop on October 12, 14, 16 from 10-11:30 CDT (11-12:30 EDT). In the 3-session workshop, find out what virtual exchange is and how it can work for you. Below you’ll find a brief summary of the main topics in each session:

Explorers Workshop, Session 1: We will answer common questions as well as your specific questions in an interactive session with Gazelle International expert facilitators - What is Virtual Exchange (VE)? How does it work on campus? Can any teacher run a VE/CLICK project? Is class-to-class VE the only way? What do teachers say about it? How will our students benefit? Does it replace or combine with study abroad/mobility?

Explorers Workshop, Session 2: We explore the principal learning goals for classroom-based Virtual Exchange, taking into account the many layers and facets. Participants will see how curriculum and pedagogy align with the meta-goals of VE and CLICK global learning goals. Discover how virtually any field of study can succeed with our approach to VE/CLICK.

Explorers Workshop, Session 3: We explore the fundamentals of co-teaching and collaborative, project based learning. We will explore the keys to good teaching partnerships with discussion and action-learning. By the end, participants will be better able to decide if they are ready to take the next steps and start "CLICKing."

Check out what teachers and faculty are saying about our virtual exchange workshops!

Individual teachers can complete our program from start to finish as we lead you through the 5 main steps: Explore - Match - Design - Run - Assess/Recognize.

Interested in taking an institutional approach? We’d love to help you create a roadmap for your campus internationalization efforts. Sign up for a workshop or contact us today.
