      • Nancy Ruther won and served as co-leader for a federal grant to New Haven Public Schools to introduce and teach Arabic and Chinese languages.

      • Developed a partnership with the World Languages Director of the New Haven Schools and Yale University’s MacMillan Center to create and win the funding. Led Yale experts to develop the low-cost “can-do” assessment approach to measure student and teacher accomplishments against goals, providing a cost-effective means of tapping a single data source to manage program quality and support grant reporting.
